Kelsey J. Burge

Kelsey earned her Juris Doctor degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law, and is an Illinois-licensed attorney, practicing exclusively in the field of family law. She has handled cases ranging from high-net worth and highly contested divorces, parentage matters, adult and minor adoptions, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and appeals. Utilizing her strong analytical background, Kelsey understands that no family is the same and legal solutions for family law matters must be highly customizable to fit the specific needs, interests, and circumstances of the client. 

Kelsey has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2024-2026, and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association. In addition to practicing law, Kelsey is pursuing her PhD in Political Science at Loyola University Chicago, where she is focusing her research on gender equity in legal systems. This research broadens her perspective on the intersection between legal systems, family dynamics, and societal norms.
