MEGAN WAGNER COX

Megan Wagner Cox was sworn into the Illinois Bar in May 2014 and has practiced law part- and full-time ever since.  She has gained a wide variety of skills in various types of law.  It is Megan's passion to serve low-income populations and she did internships and held positions with Prairie State Legal Services (PSLS), the Center for Disability and Elder Law (CDEL), and DuPage Legal Aid (DLA).  Megan volunteers with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) as a Guardian ad Litem for minor children and has volunteered as an attorney for the Chinese American Service League (CASL) and Administer Justice.  Megan also operated as a solo practitioner for the Law Office of Megan Wagner Natalino from 2014 to 2019 and hung her shingle again with Wagner Law from 2022 to 2026.

Education

Megan attended the DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, where she was a board member for the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA) and a member of the DePaul Law Review.  Prior to law school, Megan earned her Paralegal Certificate from Elgin Community College and attended Judson University in Elgin, Illinois where she double-majored in Secondary Education: Social Studies, and History and played Varsity Volleyball.  She has spent years in the classroom as a Teacher and coach working with teenagers and has a passion for helping young people find their voice as they develop into adults.

Megan is a Fox Valley native and she and her husband are the proud parents of five children.  Megan takes it to heart when potential clients level with her about their goals because not only has Megan experienced similar issues to those of her clients, but she is also analytical when applying the law to best serve her clients and protect their rights.  Most importantly, Megan wants her clients to know that she sees them and cares about them and their families.  It is Megan's firm personal belief that Jesus is grieved when his people are burdened and celebrates when his people are treated fairly and justly.
